The Parker Library is buzzing with activity this season, offering a variety of programs and events designed to engage our community, inspire curiosity, and provide fun for patrons of all ages. Whether you’re looking for after-school enrichment for your kids, hands-on learning experiences, or just a cozy spot to explore new books, the library has something for everyone!

Maker Monday & Tinker Tuesday Programs

Our after-school programs for youth in grades 1–6 continue to be a highlight! Held every Monday and Tuesday when school is in session in our library meeting room, Maker Monday and Tinker Tuesday give kids the chance to explore STEM concepts through hands-on activities. Programs are free to all participants, and registration is not required.

We’re proud to partner with the K-State Extension Marais des Cygnes District, who bring their expertise and leadership to our programs. Plus, once a month, participants get to work on cooking, food preparation, and self-help skills, helping them build practical skills for everyday life.
