Patron’s OPAC Account
You must be logged in to view information about your account.
*Be sure to make a note of your user-name and password when you pick up your new card at the library.
Once you are logged in, a basic search will show you items owned at your home library.
An advanced search will show you items owned at all SEKnFind member libraries.
While logged in you can:
- View and renew checked out items and overdue items.
- View status and cancel holds.
- View fines owed.
- Submit changes to personal details. i.e. Name, Address.
- Change password.
- View reading history.
- Make suggestions.
- Review and edit lists.
Tabs serve different purposes:
My Summary
Checked Out
- Click on My Summary Tab.
- Click on the tab Checked Out to view items that are currently checked out.
You can see and renew both overdue and non-overdue items from this page.
Overdue items are highlighted and have a red due date.
To renew, click Renew next to the item.
Overdue
- Click on the My Summary tab.
- Click on the Overdue tab to view only the items that are currently overdue.
- To renew, click Renew next to the item.
Holds
- Click on the My Summary tab.
- Click on the Holds tab.
- This will list all items on hold with their status.
- To cancel a hold, just click the Cancel button next to the hold in question.
My Fines
- Click on the My Summary tab.
- Click on the Fines tab.
This will show the total balance, if any fines are due.
My Tags
- Click on the My Tags tab.
- From this menu you will see all of the tags you have added to items
as well as the numbers of tags from other patrons.
My Personal Details
- Click on the My Personal Data tab.
- Profile information will be available to update.
- Submitting the form will notify a library staff member, who will make the changes permanent.
Change My Password
- Click on My Password tab.
- From here the login information for the OPAC can be changed.
My Reading History
- Click on the My Reading History tab.
- This will show everything the patron has checked out from the library.
My Purchase Suggestions
- Click on the My Purchase Suggestions tab.
- This will list all of the title suggestions submitted by a patron with the order status.
- Suggestions can be deleted.
- New suggestions can be submitted.
